Eco Friendly...

From the beginning, our goal has been to minimize our impact on the environment. Our efforts include using 100% recycled paper products for such items as client folders, copy paper, paper towels, and general files. We also recycle all paper, glass, bottles, cans, and ink cartridges. Not only do we recycle and reuse, but the cleaning products we use at the office are “eco friendly”.

We are proud to announce that as of July 2007 the electricity used by our office is generated from 100% wind power. Wind power is the world's fastest growing energy resource, displaces conventional power and helps eliminate air pollution problems such as smog and acid rain. Wind is also an unlimited resource which helps to reduce our dependence on energy from other countries.

Due to our energy saving and recycling programs, we were able to join several eco-friendly business associations. The goal of these groups is to build awareness by individuals and businesses on the benefits of going green. We are members of the Businesses for the Bay and the Chesapeake Sustainable Business Alliance. We are also the only financial services company in Maryland and just one of a handful in the nation to be a member of the EPA’s Green Power Partnership.
