Giving Back...
We pride ourselves on our philanthropic efforts. Our goal is to give back to the community that has helped us grow. We do this by volunteering, donating, and bringing attention to those organizations that help to improve our community and way of life. In 2007, we donated over $20,000 to local charitable organizations.
Paws for a Cause...
In 2006, we started Paws for a Cause, an annual fundraiser supporting local charities that provide support, shelter, or facilities for pets. Last year, we raised enough money to buy dental equipment for the Humane Society’s newly remodeled Spay and Neuter clinic.
Our 2007 event was also a success. We raised money to help the Canton Dog Park (Baltimore’s only dog park) for landscaping improvements. The new landscaping will provide better turf, add water fountains for the dogs, and should also be a little easier on the eyes of the humans.
We also exceeded our goal for the Humane Society of Baltimore County (HSBC). Based on our donation, HSBC is building a real-life room for the dog kennel. The real-life room will serve as an area to observe the behavior of new dogs, train “parents” on how to raise their new family addition, and for dogs and prospective parents to get meet each other in a safe, quiet, and comfortable environment.
