Career. Starting my career as a Financial Advisor in 1998 has given me a broad prospective over wealth management. I have seen some of the best and some of the worst markets in our history. That experience allows me to approach my clients with the knowledge of how the markets fit into their greater financial picture. My prospective has also been broadened by serving as an advisor, a mentor, and as a manager throughout my career.
Writing. I have been writing financial articles for regional newspapers over the past eleven years. I have also conducted financial planning workshops for businesses such as Verizon, AOL, Fannie Mae, as well as over a dozen other corporations and federal agencies.
Non-profit. I am a member of the National Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce (Bronze Pioneer), a Partners member of HRC, a sustaining member of Equality Maryland, the University of Maryland Alumni Association, Pride Planners, the Canton Community Association, and the ASPCA. I am the treasurer for the Canton Dog Park. In 2008, I completed the paperwork to legitimize Paws for a Cause by creating a 501(c)3. I am the founder and board president of Paws for a Cause, Inc.
Personal. My wife, Heidi & I enjoy camping, hiking, and traveling with our dogs, Fenway & Roxy. During the summer, I enjoy playing baseball, while Heidi is active in various sports with a local recreational league.
Recently, Heidi & I had the pleasure of designing the new office. With our clients comfort in mind, it offers an atmosphere similar to home. We have found ways to integrate the latest technologies so that we may provide our clients with the best service possible.
